本项目全长43.8公里，其中G347泉塘至牛埠段一级公路25.2公里，昆山鹤毛连接线二级公路18.6公里，建设工期30个月。 G347泉塘至牛埠段一级公路全长25.2公里，路基宽27米，路面宽23.5米； G347昆山鹤毛连接线二级公路总长18.6公里，分别连接昆山镇和鹤毛镇政府所在地；全线新建特大桥1座，大桥2座，其中西河特大桥，桥长1057米，主桥为80m+140m+80m；主要建设内容包括路基工程、路面工程、桥梁工程、绿化环保工程等。
